  Wow really enjoyed the introductions. Great to see the everyone in my bubble and the vast experience everyone has. Stories whakawhanaugatanga in brining us together.   Bubble leader Vicki shared goals:  Students are supported to acquire fluency using basic tools to use for learning  Teachers are supported to acquire fluency using the basic tools for effective achievement planning, assessment and professional learning.  Teachers understand how to use technologies effectively to have impact on accelerating achievement Understanding of Manaiakalani kaupapa and pedagogy and how it has been constructed over 10 years to to maximise and impact learning  Thank you Dorothy for the background story of Manaiakalani.   Session 8:  Empowered learners and Empowered teachers Empowered - unpacking from the word Agency  It is very difficult to get by with the average wage. It gives very little choice for some families, considering whanau in different spaces who have been displaced and had to move into another area.  Research shows that children coming from low socioeconomic communities arrive at school  2 -3 years compared to students in high decile schools. Also fall back with amount of words being learnt and a more likely to be transient families.  Technology spaces is not just a tool. Use the connections so that children can learn create and share.
