The Hook - Updating content - Design it so that it speaks for it self, Includes parents/ Whanau/ Colleagues - Wow factor to see what is behind it

Multi modal: - Engagement, accessibility, Empowerment and Agency 

Cognitive complexity - Differentiation for personalisation

- One way may not necessarily work for others in the class 

I like this slide - The importance to hook our students first in order to accelerate learning




Reflection: 

What I really enjoyed today in my learning was the multimodal  template and planning with  that we did with Jacob link here . We shared how it is important to give our children multi means of choice as not one child learns the same as the other. I also enjoyed how we were all able to insert links and share ideas on to the planning template on opression and in terms of End of year planning as a team this would be a great idea. I think evening flipping it and send the template out earlier before the planning so that teachers have time to insert their links Complimentary text, Scaffolding text and Challenging text. 

I really liked identity sites link here and tried to replicate this well not quite link here 

Would like to share this knowledge with leaders for ideas around team planning so that would be my next steps. 

Great learning today.

    I'm glad you enjoyed the day. I'd love to have a look at the site you created, can you change the sharing permissions so it's visible to people outside of the Roscommon domain? I also really love that slide you've included - Visibility enables accelerated shift. Those two aspects of behavioural and cognitive engagement are so important and I think a really great way about thinking about the teaching and learning happening in our spaces - are we engaging our students in both aspects?

  Wow really enjoyed the introductions. Great to see the everyone in my bubble and the vast experience everyone has. Creative skills help students become better problem-solvers, communicators and collaborators  Everyone can Create Apple 2018  I like the part about our children becoming problem-solvers, in order to do this that they need to be given the opportunities. Creativity is important for children as fresh air and sunshine.  letting children explore that space - giving children opportunities Lego with groups of students, chess group, podcasts, table tennis club giving them opportunities.  It was ally cool watching heart of the matter - It was interesting what he shared that when they looked at other schools work it looked similar, but with their school their work was very different. Every child is different in they way they express their learning so I think that they were given space and opportunities to explore rather than being modelled what to do so that it becomes Generic This is a piece of work that I was so proud by from a year 7 & 8 student who takes our photograph...
